Firm donates solar streetlights to community

The CEO of the company, Sunny Akpoyibo, said the donation was an inspiration from God aimed at making the environment eco-friendly while encouraging the green energy campaign of the government.
Speaking at the commissioning of the project, the Regional Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Abuja, Pastor Emmanuel Ibitayo said the presence of light in any community signifies progress which is what the gospel stands for.
“In the Bible, it was when light came forth that God started to create other things; so light is an agent of development because it brings progress to any community,” he said.
Ibitayo added that “as Christians we are the light of the world and so it is time for us to practice what we preach; if we say we are the light of the world we must show it. I appreciate what God is using this province to do and I pray that there will be progress in this place, darkness will disappear physically and spiritually.”
He further advised Christians to let their light shine forth to glorify God in heaven.
