Firm appoints new director

The board of Morison Industries Plc has appointed Mrs Afolake Lawal as a non-executive director.
According to a statement from the firm, her appointment followed the resignation of four directors of the company.
The statement said Afolake is a certified pension practitioner, associate member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and currently serves on the board of Eterna Plc.
“Afolake was also the co-founder and group executive director of GTl Group, a foremost Investment banking firm in the country. She has over 15 years experience in investment banking, corporate governance and business strategy,” the statement added.
