A Pan-African sustainable development organisation, Lumière Group International, has called for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Nigeria.
The firm’s Chief Exrcutive Officer, Gisele Dede Aklobesi, stated this during the unveiling of one of the firm’s product- EcoBoost Enzyme Fuel Treatment, saying that the product was targeted at maximising harmful emissions from fuel consumed equipment.
“In a world where the demand for fuel is ever- lincreasing, the need for sustainable solutions has never been more pressing.
“Our team, driven by a passion for environmental stewardship and technological advancement, has tirelessly worked to bring this fuel additive to Nigeria and the greater part of Africa,” she said.

She added that the drive to market the product in Nigeria was to achieve the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) goal of reducing GreenHouse Gas emissions by 20 per cent by 2030.
At the launch, the special guest of honour, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II unveiled the product, describing it as being eco-friendly.
“We are unveiling this product for the benefit of economic privilege and value addition for the entire people of our dear country and the entire human race. It’s a blessing to mankind. Today, I hereby unveil the product,” he said.
The Director General, Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwunonso, represented by his Special Adviser, Folashade Aderoju, affirmed the credibility of the product, saying that it went through the procedure before launching into the market.
