A fire has razed six Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) belonging to Zenith Bank on Tafawa Balewa Road in Kano metropolis in Kano State.
Witnesses said the fire was as a result of an electrical fault which occurred while people were checking to confirm whether the ATMs were dispensing cash.
Spokesman of the state’s fire service, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident, said preliminary investigation revealed that an electric spark was suspected to be the cause of the incident.
