Fire razes perm sec’s house in C/River

Fire has destroyed the home of Mr Sam Egbala, the Permanent Secretary in the Cross River State Ministry of Youths and Skills Acquisition.

Egbala, a former Editor-In-Chief of the state-owned Nigerian Chronicle, confirmed the incident.

He said, “Many valuables were lost in the uncontrollable fire outbreak in the early hours of today (Monday).”

Egbala attributed the cause of the fire to an electric fault.
