Fire has razed several shops at the Kastina-Ala main market in Kastina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.
Witnesses said the fire which started at about 8pm Wednesday destroyed goods worth millions of naira.

Our correspondent gathered that the cause of the fire was not known.
Over 600 shops, according to witnesses, were consumed by fire which caused injuries to some traders making effort to rescue their wares.
The chairman of Kastina-Ala, Alfred Atera, told journalists in Makurdi on Wednesday that he visited the scene of the incident and had taken note of the damage.
The director of the state fire service, Engr Donald Ikyaaza, said he was not aware of the incident.
