An early morning fire yesterday destroyed goods worth over N50 million at the popular second-hand cloth market, Katangowa in Agbado/Okeodo Local Council Development Area, along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
Shop owners blamed the incident on electric sparks.
Some of them alleged that hoodlums took advantage of the incident to steal goods.
Policemen were sighted protecting traders and their property.
