A night fire has gutted Karmo market in Abuja on Tuesday, affecting three parts of the facility.
A witness, Ibrahim Shekarau, said the fire emanated from a power generating set of a textile shop owner who was off loading goods into his shop around 8 pm on Tuesday.
He said the generating set was engulfed in flames which escalated to other shops before its was put off by firefighters around 9:30pm.
