A midnight fire has destroyed property worth millions of naira at the Agboju Market in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The incident which occurred in the wee hours of Sunday came barely 10 days after fire razed down a market at Ijesha.

Although no life was lost in both incidences, many people sustained burns while trying to salvage their goods.
The cause of the recent fire could not be ascertained as at press time, but rescuers from the state and federal fire services, as well as officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the police, were on ground to rescue the situation.
