The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sent a condolence message to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, over the death of his principal private secretary and long-time aide, Abdullahi Nyako.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the governor’s press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, on Sunday.

Fintiri while mourning described Nyako as a great son of Atiku Abubakar and the country. The governor added that the deceased will be remembered for his loyalty and steadfast service to his community.
“He will be sorely missed as a towering figure in the campaign of His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, going into elections in 2023. Nyako left at a time his services are needed most.
“The entire Adamawa community and I share with Your Excellency and the bereaved family, the feelings of great loss at this moment of deep sorrow”. he said.
