The Centre for Management Development (CMD) is to be repositioned to meet international best practices in the area of management training of the nation’s workforce.
The Chairman, Governing Council of CMD, Mr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, gave the assurance in Abuja at the end of the Council’s meeting with CMD management.
Mr Olasunkanmi Tegbe said the move became necessary to fast track the realization of the Economic Recovery Growth Plan and other developmental programmes of the present administration. He said to achieve this; the council had already mapped out four cardinal objectives which include human capital development, partnership/alliance with foreign stakeholders/training organizations, improved quality service delivery and sustainability of revenue generation on capacity training.
