FG to engage students on entrepreneurship training

Mr Lampo disclosed that the ministry would provide funds and working tools

The Federal Ministry of Finance is set to sponsor students of the Federal Polytechnic, Bali, in Taraba State, for entrepreneurship training.

The sponsorship is part of the ministry’s effort of addressing unemployment among the teeming youths in the country.

This was disclosed by a Director in the ministry, Mr Ibrahim Lampo, during a one-day sensitisation programme on entrepreneurship at the institution.

Mr Lampo disclosed that the ministry would provide funds and working tools, education and information manuals to the students and business-inclined people across the country.

He said the incentive was aimed at growing successful businesses among the unemployed youths.

Mr Lampo, therefore, advised the students and the unemployed youths to identify business opportunities and also conduct feasibility study and initiate business proposals and seek for the support of the ministry, adding that the fund was free for all eligible applicants.
