The Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, has promised that the ministry will resolve the transportation and other logistics challenges facing the National Examinations Council (NECO).
Professor Mamman stated this at a briefing session with the leadership of NECO, led by the registrar, Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi.
He said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was problem-solving oriented and he was ready to resolve all genuine challenges facing the sector within the limits of available resources and legal framework.
Prof Mamman reiterated the determination of his administration to confront head-on, the challenges facing the sector, calling on all hands to be on deck in the onerous task of nation building, adding that education is too critical to be ignored.

On his part, the Minister of State for Education, Dr Yusuf Tanko Sununu, said the NECO was the pride of the country and everything humanly possible must be done to enable it fulfill its mandate.
Sununu also used the occasion to warn any institution or establishment from discriminating against the NECO certificate, maintaining that such would amount to denigrating the the country, saying, the NECO certificate has all the requirements of national and international standards.
Earlier, the NECO registrar lamented over the logistics challenges facing the Council, especially during the conduct of its national examinations.
