The Federal Executive Council Wednesday approved over N2 billion as revised estimated total cost for the supply of cattle for Taraba State under the emergency agricultural integration for states affected by conflict and insecurity.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouk, disclosed this to reporters after the FEC meeting.

She said: “For the procurement, as I mentioned, it is an agricultural emergency intervention that was to be taken to the conflict affected states, and is in the tune of N2 billion and some millions or thereabout.”
She also said the council approved the National Action Plan on Human Trafficking in Nigeria (2022-2026).
The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola said the council re-awarded the contract of 49 kilometers section of Abaji-Kotokanfi Road in favour or Messers Galt for N56.175bn.
He said the contract sum of the Apoto-Alfa/Oyo boundary road in Kwara was revised by N251,530,000 (from N3,060,000,000 to N3,311,000,000).
The Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, said council approved the revised science, technology and innovation policy for the country.
He said it became necessary to revise the policy to keep pace with new and emerging technologies.
