The Federal Government has again said plans are ongoing to allocate 25 percent of the national budget to the education sector.
The Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, disclosed this in Abuja yesterday while declaring open a two-day National Conference on Equal Opportunity on Access to Tertiary Education in Nigeria, organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Equal Opportunity Group.
Mamman said the role of stability in the system as a key priority to make the presidential promise a reality.
He said the government was committed to policies that would promote inclusivity and ensure all Nigerian children attained their desired level of education.
