President, Nigerian Cancer Society, Adamu Alhassan Umar, on Tuesday urged the Federal Government to commit more funding to the health sector and the fight against cancer.
He spoke at a seminar and orientation for NYSC staff ahead of the National Flag-off of the Arm Our Youths Health Campaign in collaboration with the Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora Foundation.

President and founder of the foundation, Prof. Chris Ifediora, said the campaign was a health promotion initiative that sought to introduce anti-breast and Anti-cervical cancer teachings into the regular activities of the NYSC orientation camps across Nigeria.
Director-General, NYSC, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, said the scheme had the manpower and population to take the campaign to every part of the country.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said there was an annual budgetary provision for the fight against cancer in the country.
