The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, has said the plan for full digitisation of all processes in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) by 2025 will lead to an automatic cut in the cost of governance.
She said this on Wednesday at a one-day retreat on digitsation for the Head of Service and permanent secretaries.
She also said MDAs having been given the opportunity to ensure adequate budgetary allocation in the 2024 budget will have no excuse to up their game on digitisation come 2024.
“This is to meet up with the deadline of 2025 as stipulated in the Federal Civil Service and Strategy and Implementation Plan, 2021-2025,” Yemi-Esan said in a statement signed by the spokesman in her office, Mallam Muhammed Ahmed.

She urged MDAs to leverage technology to drive the national goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.
In his address, the Minister of Communication, Digital Economy and Innovation, Mr Bosun Tijani, said technology, having made things a lot easier, will enhance service delivery greatly.
