The Federal Government has repatriated 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement signed by Zonal Director of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North Central, Bashir Idris Garga,
the returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday morning by a combined team of government officials led by NEMA.
He said the returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies and sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.
This is coming barely 24 hours after the federal government said it had reached an agreement with the UAE on the issue of the visa ban imposed on Nigeria two years ago.
