FG hailed on NEITI boss appointment

The Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Olawale Akanbi‎, has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Mr Waziri Adio as the new Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).
The royal father, in a statement yesterday by his spokesman Dauda Abimbola, said Buhari had taken the right decision by appointing Adio whom, he noted, had excelled in his chosen field.
The monarch said Adio parades a record ‎which shows commitment to excellence and scholarship and one that can inspire the youth to greater things.
A group of professionals known as “The Vision Group” in a statement by its conveners, Dr Rafiu Isamotu and Daud Okanlawon, tasked Adio on service delivery, saying this could only stand him out among other appointees of Buhari.
