The federal government has given contractors handling the multi-billion naira Nasarawa-Loko Road two months to complete the project.
Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, issued the ultimatum while inspecting the road project on Wednesday.
The 74-kilometre Nasarawa Loko road linking Nasarawa and Benue states is handled by three companies. The minister said if completed would reduce the travel hours of commuters.
Earlier, the state Controller, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Daikwo Idah, promised the contractors would be made to deliver the project on time.

Our correspondent reports that CGC is handling the 42.2km portion of the road at the cost of N12,966,178,173.79; GITTO company handles the 10.8km at the cost of N8,870,450,580.51 while RCC handles 21.3km at the cost of N8,167,099,483.07, bringing the total cost of the road project to N30,003,728,237.40.
