The Federal Government has donated 24 trucks of relief items to the Borno State government for onward distribution to relations of the killed Zabarmari rice farmers and others of recent attacks in the state.
The leader of the delegation who is the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouk, made the presentation during a sympathy visit to the state yesterday over the horrendous killings.

Speaking while presenting the items, Hajiya Sadiya said the gesture was aimed at cushioning the hardship the victims were undergoing.
Governor Zulum thanked the delegation for the visit to condole with the government and people of the state.
