The Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, says the government is doing everything possible to sanitize the water sector.
He said this in Abuja on Thursday when he received a delegation of Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust titles, led by one of its directors, Alhaji Rabiu Garba.

The minister said the National Water Bill before the National Assembly was targeted at revitalizing the sector for optimal performance.
He affirmed that Daily Trust was one of the few noted for fairness, balance and accurate reportage in Nigeria.
The minister promised cordial business relationship with the company.
He condoled with the management and staff of the company over the death of one of its shareholders, Alhaji Wada Maida, praying for the repose of his soul; and fortitude for his family to bear the irreparable loss.
Earlier, Alhaji Garba had told the minister that the team was in his office to seek a business relationship and introduce the new management of the company to him.
The Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief of the company, Mallam Naziru Mikailu, assured that the newspaper would continue to provide balanced and impartial coverage for all parties.
