FG builds 1,667 IT centres in 2 years – Pantami

The Federal Government has built more than 1,667 Information and Technology centres across the country in the last two years, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has said.

Pantami disclosed this Friday in Abuja when he commissioned seven more IT projects spread across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.

The minister, who performed the virtual commissioning on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, said the IT centres were built to ensure that Nigeria’s digital economy continues to play a key role in the development of the country.
