FG approves Naval base for Imo

Governor Ikedi Ohakim disclosed this to newsmen at Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri, on his way to Abuja yesterday.

He said the state has benefitted immensely from federal government, which he estimated to worth over 200billion Naira.

 Ohakim said the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has also adopted the documents forwarded by the state for the building of a petro chemical company, in continuation of the building of oil refinery in the state.
