Female passenger found dead in airport toilet

A female passenger was found dead inside a toilet at the Departure Hall of the international wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos yesterday.
The Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates-bound passenger scheduled to travel with Etihad Airways had complained of a slight pain after which she entered the toilet.
She did not return to the Departure Hall until her body was discovered by an aviation security official who alerted medical personnel at the airport.
Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) spokesman, Yakubu Dati, said the medical personnel confirmed her death. Some of her relatives were at the airport when the incident happened, our correspondent said.
Her body was deposited at the mortuary of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) while investigation is in progress to determine the cause of her death, the correspondent gathered.
Airport Police Command spokesman, Mr. Alabi Joseph, said he was yet to get details at press time yesterday.
