Tension is high in the Opume community, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State over the alleged killing of a 39-year-old farmer, Waadu Alfred, by suspected herders.

Sources in the community told newsmen that the family of the deceased became apprehensive when she did not return from the farm over the weekend, prompting a search party for her.

City & Crime learnt that her decomposed body was found tied to a tree with machete cuts and signs that suggest she was raped before being killed.
