The Rector of the newly established Federal Polytechnic, Daura, Dr. Aliyu Mamman, has said they have developed a five-year strategic plan for the effective take off of the institution.
Speaking at the maiden management retreat of the polytechnic in Kano, Dr. Mamman said the retreat was aimed at making the management to be in tune with its strategic policy documents: academic briefs, policies and the five-year strategic plan.
He said, “We want to have interface and interaction with experts on these three issues so that they will guide us and give us quality inputs on how to further develop and implement them.”
The rector further said they wanted to leave a very good and quality legacy.
