Mama Gemade, a community leader and church worker died at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital on December 23, 2013, aged 86, a statement by the family said.
She is survived by her sister, many children, among them Senator Barnabas Gemade and the Managing Director, FHA Architect Terver Gemade, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her remains will be laid to rest at her Gemade village, Korinya in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State on January 25, 2014, the statement said.
