Fear of Hurricane Matthew! Man hides car in living room

A South Florida man so worried for the safety of his car amid Hurricane Matthew last week decided to protect the car by driving it into his living room. Randy Jalil of Port St. Lucie said he only had enough room in his garage for two of his collectible cars during the weekend storm, so he set about finding a more creative solution for his car. “I’ve owned my BMW E30 for about eight years now and the last few years there was a spike in value with these cars. I wasn’t risking anything! This car is absolutely my pride and joy and I will own it for years to come. I currently daily drive the car and enjoy it as much as possible. Most people nowadays will keep them tucked away in their garage to keep the value up. Cars are meant to be driven and I will always live by that,” Jalil said.
