The Coordinator of the FCT Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD), Abdulkadir Zulkiflu, has called on contractors of projects in the satellite towns to hasten up and complete them on schedule.
In a statement, the spokeswoman of STDD, Felicia Meeme, said the coordinator made the call when he embarked on a site visitation to acquaint himself with all the ongoing projects aimed at assessing their progress, identify challenges and explore opportunities for improvement.
She said some of the projects visited were from sites of construction near the Naharati River to Unguwan Hausawa Road in Abaji Area Council and the construction of the 16km link road in the South Eastern part of Abaji awarded in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
The coordinator expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the teams involved.

Responding, the contractors, M/S Sahabi Liman & Sons Ltd and M/S Craneburg Contruction Company Ltd, said the visit had boosted their morale and promised to achieve their set objectives on time.
