Addressing elders and the youth during the installation, Chief Aneh called on Tiv people in the nation’s capital to always work for the interest of all.

He urged them to promote causes that would portray the ethnic group in a good light.

Aneh, who was represented by Gabriel Akpen, Secretary of the FCT Tiv Council , explained that the emergence of Akuma would halt the activities of obscure persons that paraded themselves as Tiv leaders in the FCT, especially in AMAC.

He asked Akuma to work for the unity, peace and love of his people instead of collecting food items, drinks and cash from unsuspecting Tiv people around him in the name of appointing them leaders in their respective communities.

The new Ter u Tiv is from Ichongu, Turan, in Kwande LGA of Benue State.
