The FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, said he seeks to establish a more vocational education system in Abuja for youths’ empowerment.
Wike, who said this when he hosted the Irish Ambassador to Nigeria, Peter Ryan, noted that he wants to expand employment opportunities with vocational education skills.
The minister also disclosed that his administration was already working on promoting policies that would open up investment opportunities for agriculture and technological development in the nation’s capital.
According to him, Nigeria and Ireland have a long strong relationship that should be nurtured and sustainable for mutual benefit.

Earlier, Ryan said some Irish vocational education experts were billed to be in Abuja in few weeks’ time.
The Ambassador stated that his country had made appreciable progress in the areas of education and agriculture, and would be glad to share its experiences with any willing country.
