The FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, has approved the appointment of Dr Mohammed Ali Dan-Hassan as the substantive Executive Director of the FCT Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA).
The minister also directed that henceforth, the agency should be addressed as FCT Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Directorate.
In a statement, the spokesperson, Karo Sani Bala, said the appointment took effect from October 7, 2022.
Dr Dan-Hassan holds a BS in applied geology (ABU), M.Sc in hydrogeology and engineering geology (Ile-Ife) and PhD in hydrogeology (FUTMX).
He also bagged professional certificates from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, Delft, Netherlands.
Prior to his current appointment, he was a deputy director at the FCT Water Board and acted as executive director of the agency.
