FCT students seek more book clubs in schools

Students across primary and secondary schools in the federal capital territory (FCT), Abuja, have been urged to imbibe reading culture to broaden their horizon in different fields of human endeavours.

Winner of the first edition of  ‘Book the Kids Again’ Project, Valerie Emasealu from Aduvie International School Jahi, Abuja, in an interview with journalists in Abuja over the weekend, said winning the competition served as an opportunity to read a variety of books, and urged her fellow students to also imbibe the culture of reading.

“Winning a one-month gift card to access and read different books provided me an opportunity to expand my knowledge and share with my friends and classmates. I believe the project is a noble cause that is targeted at encouraging reading culture among students
