FCT RUWASSA trains sanitation taskforce 

Ahead of the 2023 target to end open defecation in the Federal Capital Territory,  the FCT Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) has commenced engagements with stakeholders and development partners to end the menace. 

Addressing participants at a training workshop for FCT Task Group on Sanitation organized by RUWASSA and UNICEF, Director of FCT RUWASSA, Dr. Mohammed Ali Dan-Hassan, said the training had become important in order to fully deliver on the mandate of the Agency. 

He said the training was in the area of personnel in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in order to achieve the universal goals on sanitation and described the role assigned to the group as very critical in uplifting humanity, urging them to remain committed to the job.
