The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) says incidences of fraudulent businessmen posing as estate developers will be brought to an end with new registration measures it has introduced.
The Chairman of REDAN, FCT, Osilama Emmanuel Osilama, during an interview with newsmen ahead of a general meeting of its stakeholders in the FCT scheduled for Tomorrow, said the new method of registration would help arrest the situation.

He also spoke on measures to solve the inadequate housing problem the FCT caused by the daily influx of Nigerians into the nation’s capital city.
Osilama said the general meeting will be an avenue to accelerate the concept of mass affordable housing delivery to Nigerians, aimed at delivering 100 housing units in each of the 774 local councils of Nigeria, including the FCT.
He noted that the provision would help in addressing the insecurity situation across the nation.
According to him, the event will witness the introduction of the REDAN FCT disciplinary committee as well as regulatory, financial and law enforcement agencies.
