FCT police track stolen to Kaduna

Operatives of the FCT Police Command have tracked a stolen Toyota Hilux to Rijana, Kaduna State.

The FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday, said that the owner of the car, Mustapha Garba Lawal, reported that his Hilux van with registration number: KUJ 892 AM, was stolen in the Jabi Upstairs area of Utako, Abuja, on Sunday.

He said following the report, police operatives using digital reconstructive analysis recovered the Hilux in Rijana in Kaduna State, adding that efforts were ongoing to arrest the suspect.

CP Igweh further disclosed that three hoodlums and a driver were also arrested at AYA, Abuja, on Monday for allegedly being in possession of Indian hemp and two knives concealed in a bag, addind that they would be handed over the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after investigation.
