About 5,888 2015 Batch ‘A’ corps members deployed to the FCT have been presented with their discharge certificates by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Addressing the outgoing corps members at the orientation camp in Kubwa, the FCT Coordinator, Omotayo Adewoye, commended their level of patriotism, dedication and commitment demonstrated throughout the service year.
He urged them to take seriously the lessons of team work, honesty and discipline imbibed during the orientation period and in their place of primary assignment.
Adewoye enjoined them to develop and improve on their entrepreneurial skills in order to remain relevant, saying they could secure loan with their discharge certificates as collateral.
“The lessons of skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development must be utilised in order not to depend on scarce white collar jobs,” he added.
