FCT natives applaud minister for council chairmen’s inauguration

An FCT group, Abuja Original Inhabitants Youth Empowerment Organisation (AOIYEO), has applauded and congratulated the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, for the successful inauguration of recently elected area council chairmen.

In a statement, the President of AOIYEO, Commandant Isaac David, described the minister as a lover of peace who played major roles in unifying the residents of the territory irrespective of tribe, religion and social divide.

David said the minister did not only stand firm against “evil politicians” who wanted to monopolise the area councils for their selfish gains but also protected the mandates of the people.

He pleaded with the minister to forget an attempt to portend him among those that supported the tenure elongation of the councils, saying judging by his style of leadership it was clear that he was someone that respected the law in its entirety.
