Traditional rulers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have called on the FCT administration to implement the 5 per cent payment on the local government IGR for traditional leaders in the territory.
The Gomo of Kuje, Alhaji Haruna Jibrin Tanko, spoke on behalf of the traditional rulers when he received the FCT Mandate Secretary for Area Council Service Secretariat, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Dantsoho, at his palace on Friday.
He also requested the provision of potable water as well as official vehicles for 3rd class chiefs.
On his part, Dantsoho, said the FCT administration will not condone any traditional ruler or community leader that is found colluding or aiding criminality in their domains.
