The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello on Wednesday presided over an emergency security meeting over the escalating #EndSARS protests.
The minister, in his opening remarks, said the meeting was to “review the traumatic incidents of the past one week” with a view to ensuring normalcy returned to the FCT.

He urged the area council chairmen, religious leaders, traditional rulers, market union leaders and security agencies to forge a united front to protect lives and property, livelihoods and ensure peace return to the capital city.
“Our primary goal is to save lives and property and safeguard livelihoods. So we are here to ensure normalcy returns and what happened is not allowed to happen again,” he said.
