The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has commiserated with the people of Yaba Chiefdom in Abaji Area Council of the FCT over the death of the Etsu Yaba, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu.

City & Crime reports that Alhaji Abdullahi slumped and died in his palace after he performed ablution to observe Magrib prayers last Thursday.

During his condolence visit to Yaba on Friday, the minister described the late monarch as an upright leader who worked tirelessly for the wellbeing of the members of his community.

He said, “The late etsu was a selfless leader because he never relented in pursuing projects which brought development to his community and the entire FCT. We pray that God forgives his shortcomings and grants him aljanna firdaus.”

He also prayed to Allah to grant the family and the chiefdom the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Ona Abaji and Chairman of the FCT Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, who received the minister on behalf of the family and the chiefdom, described the late chief as a peace-loving man who contributed immensely to the development of the traditional council, even as he appealed to the minister on the need to support the education of the late chief’s children.
