The FCT Health and Human Services Secretary, Barr. Amanda Pam, has urged staff of the secretariat to brace up to the new challenges of providing quality healthcare to the people.
She urged them to always put the people first in whatever they were doing and assured that every step would be taken to alleviate the suffering of the people.
The secretary made the call when the Country Director of Health Policies Plus, Nigeria, Onariode Ezire, a unit under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), along with other officials of the unit, paid a courtesy call on her.
A statement from the press unit of the secretariat signed by Samuel Rueben Musa and Badaru Yakasai, said Barr Pam assured USAID of the FCT administration’s total support at all times.
She stated that the administration has honoured its counterpart responsibilities.
The country director stated that partnering with the FCT Administration in health service delivery is a priority to USAID because of the transparent system put in place.
He observed that what is needed to drive this collaboration to higher level is the political will and commitment on the part of the administration.
