The Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory, Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf, has commissioned the Q-Soft Denovo, a technology that is Africa’s first court recording system developed by Funmi Quadri & Co.
The African first court recording system, according to him, will improve the number of cases heard daily across courts in Nigeria, thereby facilitating speedy dispensation of justice.
During the commissioning in Abuja recently, he said, “After court proceedings, judges now have access to media files & transcript of proceedings which is now increasing their output.
“In addition, this system connects the courts to the correctional centres remotely thereby reducing unnecessary adjournments leading to prison decongestion.”
