The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Bala Ciroma, has warned farmers and herdsmen in Kwali Area Council against taking the law into their hands by engaging in reprisal attacks.
He gave the warning during a peace meeting at Kwali secretariat, yesterday, which had the council chairman, Danladi Chiya, vice chairman, Alhaji Zubairu Jibirin Yewuti, representatives of various security agents, traditional rulers, village/district heads, community leaders as well as representatives of Ardo in the area.

He stressed the need for both farmers and herders to maintain peace, saying a farmer or herder that felt aggrieved as a result of either destruction of crops or killing of a cow should report it to security agents.
