A Grade 1 Area Court in Gwagwalada, Abuja on Wednesday ordered a man, Hussaini Ibrahim, to pay N9,000 as monthly feeding allowance for two of his children, Ibrahim Hussaini and Bilal Hussaini, who are in the custody of his former wife, Grace Dauda.
The Judge, Adamu Isah, said the court having assessed the sources of the defendant’s income, ordered him to take responsibility of paying N9,000 feeding allowance for the two children.
The judge also ordered that the defendant should be responsible for the education, healthcare and clothing of the children, and urged the parties to file appeals at a Shari’a court from Thursday, December 16, 2020, if they were dissatisfied.
