The Chairman of Kuje Area Council in the FCT, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, has flagged off free anti-rabies vaccination in the area.
Sabo, represented by the Vice Chairman, Shame Kwasu, said the vaccination programme was a demonstration of the administration’s resolve to eradicate rabies and boost animal health in the council.

While noting that, “Rabies is a serious disease that a person contracts through the bites of dogs and cats,’’ the chairman called on pets’ owners to take advantage of the vaccination to make the council rabies-free.
