The prime suspect, Nuhu Musa, and two others, Mohammed Aminu and Usman Aliyu, have been arrested in connection with the failed robbery attack on the First Bank branch in Abaji town in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
City & Crime earlier reported that a joint security team last Thursday evening foiled a robbery attack on the bank which led to the killing of a police inspector identified simply as Habila.
However, two among the robbers were reportedly killed during the gun duel in front of the bank, and one of the robbers was burnt alive by a mob.
The FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, confirmed the arrests while giving an update to newsmen on the incident.
