The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in the FCT has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for curtailing activities of insurgents in the country, especially in the North/east Zone.
The Chairman of ALGON, Mr Joseph K. Shazhin, who spoke in Kwali, weekend, said that activities of the Boko Haram insurgents which claimed innocent lives, have been degraded.
He said that the six area councils chairmen of the territory would continue to support Buhari’s administration so that he can deliver democratic dividends to the entire citizenry.
Shazhin, who is the Chairman of Kwali Area Council, said that his administration was determined to improve the living standard of residents of the council.
He called on residents of the territory to remain resolute and respect constituted authorities, and to continue to be security conscious at their various domain.
