The Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) has begun pre-retirement training for 326 civil servants in the Federal Capital Territory Authority.
The Managing Director of the Agency, Shehu Abdulkadir, in his opening address at the event on Monday, said the training would facilitate the participant’s transition from public service to become successful entrepreneurs.

‘The training will cover critical areas such as idea generation, making safe investment decision, building business model and more.”
The Director, Human Resources FCTA, Mal Muhammed Bashir Mni, said the training was apt and would help equip their staff preparing for retirement to explore their skills entrepreneurship.
One of the trainees, Mrs Enah Ebito, said the training was an opportunity to acquire knowledge on how to start and sustain a business after retirement.
